North East Cultural Freelancers and Culture Northumberland join forces for a series of networks to support cultural freelancers
Over the next eight months Culture Northumberland led by Claire Venus and North East Cultural Freelancers led by Leila D'aronville will join forces to co-host a series of network meetings.
Claire Venus is interested in hearing from Northumberland based artists and cultural freelancers who would like to be part of the first network meeting this December.
The network is also open to those based North of the Tyne.
Details, space and time
Date - Thursday 8th December - hybrid - (online and in person event)
Location - The Bar at Alnwick Playhouse and on zoom.
Topic - Building space for our health and wellbeing whilst nurturing our cultural sector career goals.

9.30am - Playhouse open for coffee and networking
10am - zoom and in person session start
10.05 - Introductions, worries and wobbles.
10.30am - 2023 goals and aspirations - creative planning task.
11.30am - weaving wellbeing into a sustainable creative practise long term.
12.15 - establishing a cheerleading and accountability space.
12.30am - close and packed lunch.
About your host
Claire Venus is a Creative Producer and the co-ordinator of the Culture Northumberland project. She has over 20 years experience working with and mentoring artists, fundraising and producing events and programmes for children and young people. She is a skilled facilitator and passionate about work life balance being the building block to maintaining a sustainable career in "the arts".
