Creativity and Wellbeing Week 15-21 May '23 - Sign up and add your local events

You can list your events and activities for wellbeing week via their online portal. You might also want to consider one of these other opportunities to engage with the national Creativity and Wellbeing week;

1. SIGN UP FOR AN ONLINE EVENT WITH AUTHOR MICHAEL ROSEN

15 May, 6-9pm

What role does creativity have to play in a health crisis?

2. SHARE YOUR STORIES!

Creativity and Wellbeing week are actively looking for organisations and practitioners to contribute to their blog in the run up to Creativity and Wellbeing Week.

With so much incredible work taking place and lots of exciting plans for the festival, they'd love to use their space to showcase it.

Here is their criteria;

We’re looking for 500 – 800 word pieces that are accessible to read and informal in tone. You could include case studies or quotes from participants and/or facilitators where possible

Here’s some ideas for a structure:

  • Introduce who you are and what you do

  • Tell us about what you’ve been up to this year – how have you adapted your work due to the pandemic? What’s been your highlight?

  • Valuable lessons you’ve learnt this year – what will you keep and what can’t you wait to get rid of?

  • What are you planning for Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2022? How can people get involved?

  • Our festival theme this year is Get Creative, Get Outdoors. What does this mean to you and your organisation/practice?

  • Spotlight – tell us about another organisation or practitioner who’s been doing some great work this year that we should know about.

Please used the form below to submit your post. If you want to add an image please email this to us

3. List your event/s

Interested in running your own event during the week or working with others to create a local creativity and wellbeing festival? They will give you all the support and resources you need to create successful events that encourage participation in arts and cultural activities.

CREATIVITY AND WELLBEING WEEK WAS LAUNCHED IN 2012 AS A SMALL CELEBRATION OF ARTS AND HEALTH ACTIVITY IN LONDON. SINCE THEN WE HAVE GROWN INTO THE BIGGEST (AND BEST!) CREATIVE WELLBEING FESTIVAL SPANNING THE UK.
