Arts Council England has announced that round 12 of their developing your creative practice fund is now open to applications for individuals living and working in England.

Developing your Creative Practice (DYCP) supports the development of independent cultural and creative practitioners. This programme will give individuals the opportunity to apply for £2,000 to £10,000, to take a dedicated period of time to focus on their own cultural and creative development, and take them to the next stage in their practice.

The grant can be used to create new work, begin a period of research, travel, training, networking or mentoring. The fund is incredibly competitive, Arts Council receives many strong applications each year.

The fund is open to applicants over the age of 18 who:

  • Live and work in England

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working in the cultural sector (outside of education/training)
